Tracy Morgan was recently released from a rehabilitation facility where he had been recovering from the horrific six-vehicle auto accident he was involved in earlier this summer. He is now suing Walmart over the accident.
The accident occurred while Morgan was riding in a limo on the New Jersey Turnpike after a concert. His car was rear-ended by a Walmart semi-truck, and his car flipped over during the crash. He suffered broken ribs, a broken leg, and a broken nose because of the accident. His friend James McNair lost his life.
The Walmart truck was speeding 20 miles per hour over the posted speed limit, and the driver of the truck was nearing his drive time limit when the crash occurred. In his complaint filed in U.S. District Court in New Jersey, Morgan alleges that the driver’s negligence caused his injuries.
