Attorneys in Social Security disability case are compensated based on the back benefits secure for the claimant in other words, from the date the disability begins until the date that the claim is paid that amount of money is considered the back benefits and attorneys are awarded twenty-five percent of that back benefit amount or it’s capped at six thousand dollars at the under the present law.
